A Claiborne County father pleaded guilty Tuesday to four counts of attempted second degree murder for shooting at SWAT officers in 2011.
In December 2011, a SWAT team was serving a warrant tied to dealing drugs when officers say the suspects opened fire on them.
SWAT officers shot back and wounded one person inside the home.
Officers arrested Nolan Ausmus, 59, and his son Jerry Ausmus, 34, along with two other suspects.
According to Claiborne County officials, Jerry Ausmus pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated assault and drug charges two weeks ago. His father faces four counts of attempted second degree murder.
Sentencing is set for April 22. Authorities say officers who were on the scene that day are expected to give their accounts in court.
