KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee's game at Vanderbilt on Thursday carries special meaning for sophomore center Isabelle Harrison, the daughter of former Commodores football player and assistant coach Dennis Harrison.

It represents a chance for one of the Southeastern Conference's most improved performers to show her hometown how far she's come in the last year.

Harrison didn't play more than six minutes in any of Tennessee's three games with the Commodores last season. The 6-foot-3 sophomore now is one of only two SEC players averaging a double-double in conference games.  She's a major reason why the ninth-ranked Lady Vols (15-3, 6-0 SEC) have won eight straight games.

Harrison's father played defensive line at Vanderbilt from 1974-77 and in the NFL from 1978-87. He was a Vanderbilt assistant football coach from 1997-2001.
