Some brutal and controversial crime scene photos on the Houston brothers' land are no longer standing.
The posters, which appeared in August, showed graphic crime scene photos of a 2006 shootout between Rocky and Leon Houston and a Roane County deputy. The deputy and his friend died in the shootout, but brothers Rocky and Leon were never convicted.
The photos from this violent incident are no longer on display. Attorney James Logan, who represented Leon in his first-degree murder case, won control of the Houston estate Tuesday through a lawsuit. He immediately took down the photos.
Rocky and Leon Houston are both in custody facing federal firearms charges.
