Tennessee's Jarnell Stokes has been named the SEC?Player of the Week.
The 6-foot-8, 270-pound sophomore forward from Memphis averaged 18 points, 10.5 rebounds, two assists and two steals in games against Georgia and at South Carolina last week.
He has also recorded a double-double in five consecutive games, which is the longest such streak by an SEC player this season. In 22 games this season, Stokes has nine double-doubles.
In SEC play, Stokes averages 13.7 points per game while ranking second in the conference with 9.8 rebounds per game. His 4.0 offensive rebounds per game in league play lead all conference players.
