The sister of a Tennessee doctor who was killed in a plane crash is remembering her younger brother.

The small plane went down in Pasco County, Florida, which is north of Tampa. The pilot, 59-year-old Harold Cameron MacManus of Pikeville, was on his way to Crossville when he crashed.

MacManus' family says he had been in Florida for a week visiting family. MacManus grew up in Florida, but was living in Tennessee, working at his family practice.

His sister says he was a dedicated family man who just got a plane a few months ago.

"I've never seen him honestly as happy as I've seen him lately since he had that airplane and could come home easily here and visit his grandkids easily here. He'll be missed. I loved him dearly. He's my baby brother," said Dr. Susan McManus.

The FAA is investigating the cause of the crash.
