Two East Tennessee treasures marked a milestone Thursday.
Love Kitchen co-founders and twin sisters Helen Ashe and Ellen Turner celebrated their 85th birthday with a party at the Love Kitchen.
The two feisty sisters enjoyed cake and plenty of well wishes on their special day.
Since 1986, the Love Kitchen has provided meals, clothing and emergency food packages to the home bound, homeless or unemployed in our area.
"This picks us up and makes us feel happy honey. We don't feel our age do we honey? We're not going to dance. We're not going to dance? No I can't," laughed the sisters during the party.
The Love Kitchen is looking for volunteers to deliver food, if you can help them out on Thursday afternoons.
