Knoxville police are looking for two men they say forced their way into a home and shot a man.

The invasion happened at about 7:45 Thursday evening on Woodbine Avenue in East Knoxville.

Police say there were three people inside the home when the suspects entered with guns. Police say one suspect forced a male on the ground and demanded money from a female.

The female's boyfriend ran to a bedroom where one of the suspects followed and ordered him out at gunpoint. The two then struggled and the gun went off, hitting the victim in the back.

The suspects finally fled when the female said she didn't have any money.

Her boyfriend was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
