The budget for Knox County Schools went back up for discussion Thursday.
Superintendent Jim McIntyre hosted another community forum Thursday on Northwest Middle School. The proposal for the upcoming budget included teacher compensation, school security, and the technology initiative.
One educator we spoke with said although she wishes there was more included in the plan, she thinks overall the budget will be successful.
"Overall I do think it's a passable budget. I don't think we're going to see the wrangling like we did last year when we asked for a very large increase," said Kim Waller, library media specialist at Northwest Middle.
Both parents and teachers had a chance to ask questions at the forum.
