Allegiant Airlines whisked one little girl on a trip of a lifetime to make one of her wishes come true.

The airline flew 3-year-old Kalli Owens and her family to Disney World for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Make-A-Wish grants wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions. Since it started in 1980, the foundation has made more than 226,000 dreams come true.

These past several months have been difficult for Kalli and her family. Kalli's kidneys failed in June, and doctors said she needed a kidney transplant.

This afternoon, however, friends and family gathered at McGhee Tyson Airport to send the Owens family off.

Her mother, Brandi Owens, said the trip was a big surprise for her daughter, and she couldn't wait to see Mickey Mouse and of course several other familiar faces.

"She's really excited to meet the princesses and swim. We don't get to swim much," said Owens.

When 10News asked which princess she would like to see the most, Kalli had a couple picks.

She pointed to her mom, smiled and said, "Uhh... Mommy!"

Her mom then asked her daughter, "Is Belle your favorite?"

Kalli shook her head and emphatically said, "No, the Beast!"
