A Jefferson County man is facing more than two decades in prison for stabbing his wife. On Thursday, a jury found 67-year-old Glenn Stepp guilty of attempted first-degree murder.

Nearly two years ago, he attacked his wife from behind and stabbed her multiple times with a hunting knife.

She managed to escape and run to a neighbor's home. She survived but suffered extensive injuries.

Stepp faces up to 25 years behind bars.
