A motorcycle group from Madisonville gathered on Saturday for their annual tradition of blessing their bikes.
Pastor Morgan Clough, who is president of "The Full Throttle Warriors," said the service's mission was to ask God for safety on the roadways.
"We pray over their bikes, and we just ask God to bless them," said Clough. "And to bless really means to have the supernatural power of God working for you, and I don't know of any biker that doesn't want the supernatural power of God when you're on two wheels, to be riding with you on the handlebars."
After the service, the bikers also make their opening ride, which is a 100 mile trek down I-75 to Chattanooga and back to Knoxville for a roast pig dinner.
The money they raised will go towards four local charities.
