Bell County officials are searching for answers after they say a county vehicle was stolen, then set on fire.

Kentucky Judge Executive Albey Brock says his county-owned vehicle was stolen from its spot at his office. The vehicle was clearly marked with a county seal on the side.

Authorities found the vehicle Wednesday in the woods near Bradfordtown Road and Route 221. It had been set on fire.

The Bell County Sheriff's Department is investigating. Judge Brock says they have an idea of who may be responsible, but they are not yet releasing any further information.
