An East Tennessee boy is getting his birthday wish granted several months early.
Five-year-old Mason Millsap, or "Super Noody" as his family and friends call him, met his service dog on Friday.
His parents started raising the money needed for puppy Mo back in November around Mason's birthday. They hoped by the time Mason turned six, he would have his dog full-time, and it looks like he will!
Mason has special needs, and Mo will soon help him and the whole family.
"When we're out in public, help to keep him safe, and on command, she will drop and stop and not let him run into a crowd, into the road, off a cliff, anywhere that we're scared he might actually run or get away. She can also search and find him for us," said Mason's mom, Carrie Millsap.
Mo will have to go through training before he's placed with Mason and his family full-time. That training could be done by the end of summer.
