Deputies arrest suspect in Farragut stabbing

Update 11:37 p.m.

Knox County deputies arrested a suspect for allegedly stabbing a man in the face in West Knox County at about 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Officials arrested Charles Thomas Reninger, 43, after they said he stabbed Jonathan Daniel Williamson, 29, in the face during an argument in front of the victim's home on Black Road in Farragut. Next, Reninger sped away in a gray truck.

Authorities charged Reninger with aggravated assault.

Crews drove Williamson to UT Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Knox County deputies are searching for two suspects involved in a Farragut stabbing that sent one person to the hospital at about 12:40 p.m. on Saturday.

They believe Charles Thomas Reninger, 43, stabbed Jonathan Daniel Williamson, 29, in the face during a fight in front of the victim's house on Black Road. After the fight, deputies said Reninger took off in a gray Chevy truck with loud mufflers. Authorities believe Reninger was traveling with Tina Marie Sexton, 38.

Emergency crews drove Williamson to UT Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses said Reninger is 6'3", weighs 185 pounds, has straight brown hair and hazel eyes. Authorities said Sexton is 5'2", weighs 110 pounds, has bleached blonde hair and brown eyes.

Officials have issued an aggravated assault warrant with a $25,000 bond for Reninger. Sexton is currently not facing any charges at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call KCSO at 865-215-2243.

Knox County deputies are searching for two suspects involved in a Farragut stabbing that sent one person to the hospital at about 12:40 p.m. on Saturday.

Authorities said Jonathan Daniel Williamson, 29, was stabbed in the face at the front of his house on Black Road after fighting with an acquaintance. According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office website, neighbors heard arguing, squealing tires and then saw Williamson in the road with a bloody face.

KCSO said it's searching for a man and a woman driving a 80s model gray Chevy truck with loud mufflers. Anyone with information is asked to call KCSO at 865-215-2243.

A man was sent to the hospital after police said he was stabbed around 1:00 Saturday afternoon.

The Knox County Sheriff's Department is at the scene, on Black Road near Campbell Station Road.

Officers are taking pictures and gathering evidence. Police said the crime scene is big, with a one-mile radius.

A neighbor said he heard screaming, and called 911.

No further information was available.
