Funeral arrangements have been set for a longtime THP trooper who died Monday after battling pneumonia.
The family of Sgt. Brian Boshears will receive friends on Thursday, April 25, from 4 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life service at 8 p.m. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Oneida.
The graveside service will be conducted Friday April 26, at 1 p.m. in the Carson Memorial Park.

Members of law enforcement across East Tennessee are joining the Highway Patrol as they mourn the loss of one of their own.
THP Sergeant Brian Boshears passed away Monday after a lengthy battle with pneumonia.
The Scott County native served the Highway Patrol for more than 25 years.
A THP spokesman says Sergeant Boshears had recently been hospitalized for several weeks and had undergone aggressive treatment for pneumonia.
Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins posted this statement on Facebook:
"Brian has been a brother and friend to many. More importantly he was a dedicated son, husband, father and soon to have been, grandfather.
Brian was a man, person and trooper of the highest caliber.
Saying he will be missed is the understatement of a lifetime."
Memorial arrangements are still being finalized.
