According to a KPD spokesman, a 43-year-old man who arrived at a north Knoxville Tennova Healthcare emergency room with gunshot wounds early Friday morning refused to tell officers where the shooting happened.
Police say the Knoxville man, identified as Reginald Depriest, had driven himself to the hospital. There was no one with him when he arrived.
Depriest's had multiple gunshot wounds in an arm and chest.
Depriest was taken from Tennova to UT Medical Center for further treatment.
Police say Depriest was uncooperative withholding where the shooting happened.
However, investigators identified a possible shooting scene on Cecil Avenue in north Knoxville based on clues from Depriest's vehicle and background.
