Becky Basalone and Candice Heinz both have children who suffer from severe food allergies.
Sunday night, they sat down with 10News to talk about food allergy awareness. May 12-18 marks Food Allergy Awareness Week for FARE, or Food Allergy Research and Education.
Both moms support legislation currently on Governor Bill Haslam's desk, that would allow school administrators to treat students who have allergic reactions while at school.
