(WBIR- Knoxville) The Knoxville City Council met Tuesday evening and approved a few ticket items.
Knoxville could soon have a zoning ordinance to regulate crematories in the city. After months of delays, the council approved those regulations, but will have to vote again before they become permanent.
Council also voted to allow a technology company to install a fiber optic cable network under sections of the city. The network will mainly be used to transmit data long distance.
