Area school systems are beginning to let out for the summer,
but on Wednesday, we're getting a look inside what will eventually be our region's newest STEM school.
There's still lots of work to be done at the Clayton-Bradley STEM Academy, over in Maryville, but buildings are going up.
Once it's complete, the school will have state-of-the-art Kindergarten through six classrooms along with a science lab, library, art and music rooms.
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math, meaning STEM academies focus heavily on those subjects as a way of preparing students for in-demand careers.
The new school is set to open next July.
