A Cocke County man has been arrested after sheriff's deputies say they purchased marijuana from him during an undercover investigation.
The Cocke County Sheriff's Office says they arrested Lemuel Garver after an investigation spanning nearly a year. They say Garver was part of a larger conspiracy to distribute illegal drugs in Cocke County.
When deputies searched his home, they found 49 bags each containing marijuana, 20 guns and over $13,000 cash.
Garver has been charged with possession of schedule VI for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia, and 21 counts of felon in possession of a firearm. Officials say he may face more charges as the investigation continues.
