Oak Ridge principal Jody Goins moving to Knox's Central High

The principal at Oak Ridge High School is moving to Knox County.

Knox Co. superintendent Dr. Jim McIntyre announced Tuesday that Jody Goins has been appointed as principal at Central High School.

Goins has been principal at Oak Ridge since 2009. He joined the Oak Ridge City School System in 2004 and served as a social studies teacher, coach and assistant principal prior to his appointment as a principal.

According to KCS, Goins holds a Bachelor of Art degree in the History of Education, a Master of Education degree and an Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision all conferred by
Lincoln Memorial University .
