(WBIR - Kodak) Sunshine and warm temperatures made for a great day of wilderness and sportsmanship for the whole family.
Bass Pro Shops continued its "Family Summer Camp" series this weekend, filled with hunting skills past and present.
Kids and adults learned about hunting tips for not just guns, but also with alternative tools such as a bow and arrow.
The camp gives kids a chance to learn about proper hunting technique and hone their marksmanship skills.
"The most popular would probably be the B-B range. The kids really like that. They all think it's a bounce house, but they really like shooting. They like learning about their dominant eye, what target they're shooting at. They're having a lot of fun with it," Gayle Chesny, event coordinator said.
The camps also teach about responsible gun handling and preserving the outdoors.
Bass Pro will continue holding camps through mid-July two times during the week and during the weekend from noon until 5.
