It took 12 minutes for 35,000 rubber ducks to reach the finish line in the World's Fair Park pond Thursday.
A dump truck dropped the yellow toys into the water at exactly 2:02 p.m.
Hundreds of people, who adopted a $5 duck, lined the race path as the sun shined and rain clouds cleared. The annual fundraiser helps programs at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley.
WBIR's Russell Biven waded in the pond to fetch the first three winning rubber ducks.
