(WBIR- Knoxville) Sixteen kids were taken to East Tennessee Children's Hospital Thursday afternoon after playing at World's Fair Park, according to Erica Estep with ETCH.
The hospital says some of the kids reported eye irritation after playing in the fountains. They were treated for exposure to bleach, and then checked out and returned to school.
The kids are from a Rockford Elementary after-school program with summer activities called FRIENDS. They were on a field trip.
All parents have been notified.
