Sevierville Police are hoping someone will recognize the picture of a woman they say was using credit cards stolen from an 83-year-old woman.

Investigators say a purse containing credit and debit cards, checks and a small amount of cash was stolen from the Belk department store in Sevierville on July 4.  The victim told officers she set her purse down at the counter when she was checking out, and left the store without it.

When she realized what she'd done, the purse was gone.  She called to report the missing cards, and learned that around $3500 dollars in charges had already been made at stores in Sevierville and Newport.

Police say the woman seen in the surveillance photos used the card at a Walgreens in Sevierville.  They believe she is 20-25 years old and around 5'7" feel tall.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is requested to contact Detective Milliron at 865-453-5506.
