Emergency crews worked a fire at the Alcoa South Plant on Monday afternoon.

A spokesperson says a small amount of molten metal leaked from the recycling furnace and set a nearby vehicle on fire.

The fire department responded and contained the fire.

Officials say there were no injuries, significant damage or impact to production.
