It's been a long time coming, but the Morristown fair is back. The multi-day fair runs through Saturday.
Organizers say it's been roughly 50 years since the rides, the cotton candy, and the family fun has graced Morristown.
They say the fair is off to a good start in its first couple of days despite a few showers, but they're looking forward to more fun this weekend and encouraging everyone to check it out.
"It's something to do. It's cheaper than the movies. You can't really go wrong. You've got food, you've got rides, and you've got great entertainment," said Fair Coordinator Jeffrey Dillard.
The fair opens at 4:30 Friday and again at 10 a.m. Saturday morning.
Tickets are $15 for reserved seating for some of the shows, $10 for general admission, and $5 for kids between 5 and 12. Kids younger than 4 are free.
