While at-risk kids get free food during school hours now that students are back in the classroom, weekends remain a critical concern.
Second Harvest Food Bank is asking for the generosity of East Tennesseans. The food bank needs donors who can help support a school for $3,000 or a student for just $60. That money will help needy kids get a healthy sack full of food before each weekend.
Without the funding, Second Harvest says it won't have enough money to feed all the children.
