A heavy haul that slowly made its way through East Tennessee is standing tall at its final destination in Greene County.
The large tower traveled from Knoxville to Morristown Monday night. It took several hours to move the nearly 300-ton load just 40 miles. That created some traffic problems for hundreds.
But now the 137 foot tall absorption tower has reached its final destination.
A massive crane set the tower in place at the US nitrogen plant Thursday. The $120 million plant is expected to be up and running in a year.
It will create 200 construction jobs and 80 full-time jobs once it's complete.
