A local restaurant executive is being honored by the state for his good food and quality service.
Bo Connor, the C.O.O. of Connor Concepts, was named the 2013 "Restauranteur of the Year" by the Tennessee Hospitality Association.
Connor Concepts is based in Knoxville and owns The Chop House and Connor's Steak and Seafood.
The business first started in 1992 with The Chop House on Franklin Square in West Knoxville and now stretches from Dayton, Ohio to Fort Meyers, Florida.
Connor says he is honored to win this award.
"It was a vote of my peer group, so what a great significant award to have to have members of your peer group honor you with this award," said Connor.
The Tennessee Hospitality Association has more than 18-hundred member businesses across the state, including restaurants and hotels.
