Church members in Cleveland are asking why their new place of worship is filled with bullet holes.
The Blue Springs Baptist Church is remodeling the Blue Springs Elementary School for its use. It was damaged in the 2011 tornado.
A local contractor recently discovered bullet holes in the building, which they believe to be vandalism. The bullets hit the electrical boards used for the new sewer system causing between $5,000 and $10,000 in damage.
Church members are thankful no one was in the building at the time, but they're sad that money allocated for other features will not be spent on repairs, delaying the move-in date.
