Durham, NC ( - Rodney Hood scored 30 points to lead No. 6 Duke to an 83-74 victory Tuesday over East Carolina in the East championship of the NIT Season Tip-off. Jabari Parker scored 21 points, grabbed nine rebounds and had six blocks while Quinn Cook added 14 points and had 10 assists for Duke (4-1), which plays the winner of the Alabama-Georgia State game in the semifinals Nov. 27 at Madison Square Garden. The Blue Devils extended their non-conference home winning streak to 105 games. Prince Williams scored 15 points with five rebounds and six assists, Akeem Richmond and Antonio Robinson added 13 points apiece and Paris Roberts- Campbell scored 11 points and pulled down eight rebounds for ECU (4-1).

Louisville, KY ( - Montrezl Harrell had 20 points and nine rebounds, Russ Smith scored 14 and No. 3 Louisville ran its school-record winning streak to 20 games with an 87-48 win over Hartford on Tuesday night. Chris Jones and Chane Behanan had 11 points apiece in the Hall of Fame Tip-off Game and Kevin Ware scored four in his second game back for the Cardinals -- and first since news of his missed court date. The Cardinals (4-0) will play Fairfield on Saturday afternoon in Uncasville, Conn., in another Hall of Fame Tip-Off game. Assuming they win, they could face No. 24 North Carolina in the championship game Sunday if the Tar Heels beat Richmond. Mark Nwakamma led Hartford (2-3) with 16 points and Yasin Kolo scored 12. The Hawks had a two- game winning streak snapped. They will play Hofstra on Saturday in Uncasville.

Lawrence, KS ( - Perry Ellis netted 21 points to lead the 2nd-ranked Kansas Jayhawks to an 86-66 rout of the Iona Gaels from Allen Fieldhouse. Ellis shot 9-of-11 from the floor and added seven boards as Kansas (3-0) dominated the second half to pull away and remain undefeated on the young season. Freshman big man Joel Embiid turned in the best outing of his young career with 16 points and 13 rebounds off the bench, and highly touted Andrew Wiggins added 13 points and seven boards. Naadir Tharpe reached double digit assists for the second time in his career as he handed out 10 helpers. Kansas has won 65 straight non-conference games at home. A.J. English paced Iona (1-2) with 21 points in the losing effort. Sean Armand and David Laury chipped in 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Lexington, KY ( - James Young made five 3-pointers and led all scorers with 26 points to lead No. 4 Kentucky past Texas-Arlington, 105-76, as part of the Keightley Classic at Rupp Arena. Julius Randle recorded another double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds and Willie Cauley-Stein added 14 points and 10 boards off the bench for the previously top-ranked Wildcats (4-1), who shot 51 percent from the field and pulled away early in the second half. Brandon Edwards and Reger Dowell netted 24 and 20 points, respectively, in the second straight loss for the Mavericks (2-3). Kentucky, which started five freshmen for the second straight game after its loss to now-No. 1 Michigan State, jumped in front by double digits in the early going -- thanks to Young pouring in 13 points in the first six-plus minutes -- but showed its inexperience with three consecutive turnovers that led to easy Texas-Arlington buckets.

Eugene, OR ( - Joseph Young had 20 points and No. 17 Oregon defeated Utah Valley, 69-54, on Tuesday night. Johnathan Loyd added 12 points to go along with five steals for the Ducks (3-0), who outrebounded the Wolverines by a 42-30 margin Mitch Bruneel and Hayes Garrity each netted 15 points for Utah Valley (2-2). The Ducks led by just four at the break, but seized control of the contest with a 24-4 run to start the second half. Young and Damyean Dotson each put in five points apiece during the surge, which was capped on Waverley Austin's layup for a 53-33 Oregon advantage midway through the stanza.

Madison, WI ( - Frank Kaminsky scored a single-game school record of 43 points for the No.12 Wisconsin Badgers to lead them to a 103-85 victory over the North Dakota Fighting Sioux. Sam Dekker scored 19 points, Traevon Jackson scored 14 points and seven assists and Ben Brust also added 10 points for the Badgers (4-0), who had their first three games decided by a total of 20 points. Troy Huff scored 37 points and grabbed eight rebounds, Jaron Nash scored 19 points and Aaron Anderson added 11 points for North Dakota (1-1), which faces North Dakota State Sunday.
