Lake Forest, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bears and guard Matt Slauson
agreed to terms on a one-year contract, the team announced on Friday.
Slauson, 27, spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the New York Jets
and started 48 of 51 games played after the team selected him in sixth
round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Nebraska.
The 6-foot-5, 316-pounder should help a Chicago line that lost Lance Louis
this week after he signed with Miami, though the team also added Jermon
Bushrod this offseason to help solidify the left side of the line.
