Newark, NJ (Sports Network) - Evander Kane scored the go-ahead goal in the second period and Andrew Ladd added an insurance tally in the third, as the Winnipeg Jets downed the New Jersey Devils, 4-2, at Prudential Center.

Grant Clitsome and Zach Bogosian also scored for the Jets, who got 24 saves from Ondrej Pavelec in improving to 3-1-0 on their five-game road trip.

Johan Hedberg, in net for the second straight night as Martin Brodeur sat with soreness, gave up all four Winnipeg goals on 27 shots. Travis Zajac and Steve Bernier lit the lamp for New Jersey, which suffered its second regular loss at home and fell to 1-3-1 in its last five.
